Some textures I created for Assassins Creed : Dawn of Ragnarok
I used substance designer to make some variations of moss and then "mossed" up various rock and bark surfaces for the game.
The black sand was a particularly fun texture to make , again I made a substance deisgner materials with a few variations of blacksand and tiny golden speckles. The interesting part was , that in the game I had to make this golden speckles look metal without metalness as the particular shader had it removed. With some tricks in the normal and roughness , they came out pretty believably golden.
Procedural on the black beaches was made by Victor Ivanov
