One of the prettiest assets , I had to make for Assassin's Creed Shadows.
Wisteria plants .
The Wisteria is an invesive species , and currently is mostly used to decorate houses .
But it can be found in nature climbing on trees.
In fact few months after I had to make these assets , I had a huge tree covered with Wisteria in the area where I live.
It was very fun to check out , and confirm I had the right idea with the assets.
It was challenging to make that work, as I had to get trees and cover them on top.
I had to remake the trees themselves in order to fit into the budget combined.
I use speedtree and then Houdini to finish up.
Substance designer and painter to the textures. As well as some photogrammetry made by me for the leafs, pettels and bark.
I was lucky enough to work with incredibly professional teams.
This game is a huge collective effort.
My congratulations and big thanks to everyone in our Sofia studio,
my team specifically - Tech Art , and everyone in Quebec and every other studio we worked with on this project !
