Assassin's Creed Shadows - Cut Down Trees

One of the tasks I had on Assassin's Creed Shadows, was to create a cut down trees kit for deforested areas.
This was incredibly fun and rewarding, mainly because I could work with our brand new virtualized geometry tech, allowing
the assets to be very high poly.
I also had alot of creative control on the assets.
I had fun creating the textures for the stumps, broken bark, some old pine variation.
I happen to live near a blackpine forest, and I had the ability to go and take pictures , that I also used to create some small pieces
of photogrametry that I used on the assets aswell.

I was lucky enough to work with incredibly professional teams.
This game is a huge collective effort.
My congratulations and big thanks to everyone in our Sofia studio,
my team specifically - Tech Art , and everyone in Quebec and every other studio we worked with on this project !
