Since I had fun creating some mushrooms last time , this is another scene with some fun fungi and mushroom species. Weird, alien, but all real and existing.
Using Unreal 5 and nanite , its just fun not thinking about complexity, lods or anything really, but just create some cool assets.
I also took the opportunity, to challenge myself to using Blender almost exclusively as a software solution not falling back to my comfort 3d software.
Again in this scene everything is done by me , textures , models, shaders, environment art , lighting , fx.
Shaders are all some variations of what I used in previous scenes. The most interesting new additions are the triplanar/spherical mapping projection decals and the blendable moss that colorizes by the intensity amount of vertex paint.
I also explored geometry nodes for various modeling in blender.
