During the work for The Division 2, our studio had a mandate to create a lot of the side missions in the game. As a technical artist in the studio I had to provide technical support for the artists doing the missions. Tackling technical issues along the way.
One of the most technically challenging mission was Garden of Glass. A long with the support for the artists I was tasked with doing some work on custom modules with glass, optimization passes and custom shader for glass.
It took a lot of effort from a ton of different teams. Thanks to all the tallented people in the studio and in Massive, we were able to deliver a unique mission with amazing feel with much bigger aspirations than a simple side content.
