This is a personal project I was working on.
I was taking a course in CGMA Organic World Building and I used this as an opportunity to create something cool outside work.
This tells a short story of an abandoned world war 2 bunker high up in the mountain. Remains of the fight and bombardment are being retaken by nature once again.
What is noteworthy everything is made by me. Models, textures, shaders, lighting, post effects and everything in between.
I am using a myriad of techniques I was working on for the past months with Unreal - Virtual Texturing, some parallax clouds, shaders for: terrain with cheap tessellation, organic/non organic objects, water, effects, alphatest shells for things like moss, terrain blending with render target and virtual textures. My vegetation shader with two types of wind and in engine generated ground AO.
Even though it's a show case I worked on everything as if it would be production with performance in mind.
