During the last year I had the opportunity to work on The Division 2.
As part of technical art team in Sofia studio I was able to work with many talented people both from our studio and from Massive, Reflections, Redstorm, Annecy and others.
I had a lot of different tasks and responsibilities, one of which was working on the optimization of the grass assets for E3 and the game released. The game has a huge amount of grass and the density needed is one of the highest in contemporary games - this required a hugely optimized mesh.
This is the assets I created for the game. Thanks to the talented Robin Jönsson who created all the vegetation for the game and the pipeline.
