If you haven't played the DLC yet, this contains spoilers.
Part of my work on the DLC included creating the environment around the afterlifes.
Each afterlife had a very special feeling and outer worldly look. The Aten afterlife was a interesting take on a endless white salt desert with strange formations and popping white tones.
The Duat, the city of dead was an awesome concept of a gigantic crater deep into an endless night. Very striking shapes and tall imposing ledges were needed on the entire outer edge of the city.
I worked mostly with terrain and procedural tools to form such vast areas, but some hand placement was also needed for some special silhouettes.
